Manufacturing

A world innovator

Clean, well organized, highly advanced, team-driven, world-class – all describe the manufacturing operations at Hypertherm Associates. Deeply invested in LEAN and Six-Sigma methodologies, we are committed to a culture of continuous improvement. In addition to improving our processes, we are equally dedicated to improving our people through training, professional development, and clearly defined career paths.

The Hypertherm Technical Training Institute

The Hypertherm Technical Training Institute (HTTI) is an exceptional resource for those who wish to chart a career with Hypertherm Associates. The HTTI partners with Franklin Pierce College to offer several courses; one of the most popular is “CNC Fundamentals,” an eight-week training course for new machine operators. In addition, with the assistance of an assigned trainer/mentor, new machine operators quickly advance in knowledge, skills, and confidence while earning a USDOL apprenticeship credential.

Continuous potential

When it comes to growth potential in the area of manufacturing, the sky’s the limit. There is always something new to learn, and you control your career and learning potential. Machine operators can stay in their position or move into a new manufacturing role. Opportunities for advancement are based on learning, effort, and hard work.

A start as a machine operator may lead you down a technical path, one that involves an interest in mentoring others in a leadership role – or perhaps somewhere else. Former machine operators currently hold roles in Marketing, Information Services, Human Resources, Customer Training, Corporate Social Responsibility, and other areas of our large and diverse organization.

If you would enjoy the opportunity to work in an environment that values all Associates, is invested in the future, and offers outstanding opportunities for learning and advancement, Hypertherm Associates is the place to be.
